Hi, I'm Serene Flores.

As my last name can attest. I love flowers! I am a studio florist located in the Westminster/Huntington Beach area.

I began getting more into floral design after DIYing my very own wedding due to a small budget- so I definitely take your budget seriously! Since then, I have used online education from the Floral Design Institute and I have even been a floral merchandiser.

About the Brand...

The name "GLORY Crowns" attests to my belief that we are all created in God's Image. Often times, we can forget this fact and our self-worth falls. In a small way, I'd hope my flower crowns serve as a reminder of your worth in Christ as a child of the Lord.

"And when the chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory."

-1 Peter 5:4

3 REASONS TO CONSIDER A LOCAL FLORIST (LIKE ME!) RATHER THAN A BIG-BRAND FLOWER STORE

  1. You Receive the Freshest Quality: Your floral pieces are made to order! Flowers will be acquired 12-48 hours before your event. In big brand stores, flowers may spend up to 5 days on the shelf, and choices of flowers are more limited since the store uses flowers with a longer shelf-life.
  2. You Get Your Money's Worth: Big brand flower stores outsource their orders, meaning that they contact local florists to do the order. Here's the catch: Though you pay $60 for an arrangement, the big brand is only giving the florist a budget of $30 for their work- including their labor! The florist does their best but is overstretched and under-payed, resulting in a tarnished reputation because of the impossible situation they were in, an unhappy customer, but a happy big brand company that greedily keeps the extra cash. At GLORY crowns, you will get 100% of the worth of the flowers and a keen eye on making them shine!
  3. You Are Cared For: Since I am a solo-studio florist, I have the ability to hear your story and really think about what flowers best resonate with your event. I meticulously and personally design from what I feel reflects you!

I can't be Mrs. Flores without my Mr. Flores

Here's a quick shout out to my husband, David, who continually supports me in my floral endeavors. He helps me find the materials I am looking for (or some that are better!) in the warehouse and he has driven me out on flower deliveries. If you see him, you can thank him for the part he plays in the floral process, too!
